April 2012 Glossybox - Officially Unsubscribed

Another month, another glossybox and yes I have unsubscribed! I just get so excited each month to be let down a little bit, I was only impressed with the Harrods Edition.
April 2012's box is also Limited Edition and it is the Natural Beauty Box: the goodies are all ethical apparently and the box biodegradable! So let's crack on . . .

I would be very grateful if anyone could tell me how to swap this around!

Caudalie: Vinosource SOS Thirst-Quenching Serum - Ha! Well I thought this was for your hair when I read the title. But no, it's a moisturiser for your face. It comes out quite thin and fast, but it made my skin feel really soft and smells lovely. I'm pleased with the size even though it's small. I got 10ml and for a full sized 30ml it is £29.00.
Inika Cosmetics: Certified Organic Eyeliner - Well I received 'Lagoon Green' and I'm sure you will all know how I feel about that. I won't ever use this, I still haven't used the eyeko eyeliner in navy, so this has no chance! I did swatch it on my hand, and it is though, a very nice shiny green. It also claims to be rich and creamy. These are £11.75 per liner.
Monu Professional Skincare: Enriched Body Cream - Again nice, but nothing I'd rave over! Skin wasn't that soft after use but had a nice tangy citrussy smell which was nice and different! I received 30ml and for a full sized 200ml it is £23.00.
Figs & Rouge: Lip Balm - I actually love this! It's not just for lips, you can use it on your skin too. I'm not 100% keen on the peppermint and tea tree smell so will stick to putting it on my lips. It did make my skin soft though and my lips feel amazing after use. It lasts for ages too and the packaging is lovely! These are £3.29 - well worth the money! I love this product that much that I'm going to share the 20% off code! Enter Figs20 and get 20% off any balms by F&R from www.feelunique.com
Phillip B: Drop Dead Straightening Balm - I'm yet to use this properly as I've just been to the hairdressers :) I can't smell anything when I put in on my hands but I love the fact that it doesn't grease up your hands like normal serums and balms! This is quite a nice product, I'm a little dissapointed by the size but hopefully it will last! I got 15ml and for a full sized 178ml, it will cost £17.00.

Hope you enjoyed my reviews! Can't wait to see what everyone else got!

Also yes I did go shopping yesterday and I had a few bargains, I'll share them with you later and do reviews of my things!

Bye xx

A Little Update!

Hi lovelies! Sorry for the lack of posts again! I have just been extremely busy, going to uni, working every single day (yes really), trying to do assignments, study for my exam and taking care of my little baba and my big baba!

Anyway I've booked some days off, not back at work till Saturday and I'm off shopping with the mother tomorrow! So hopefully some nice blog posts to look forward too :) And I had an email to say the latest glossybox had been dispatched!

A quick thank you to you all - I've reached 218 followers, this makes me that happy I could cry :')

And one last thing. I've also been a little busy writing for Fantasy Shopper and their Blog where I'm currently being featured. Exciting!!

So hopefully speak soon hunnys! :)

More Friday Finds

As the last one went down quite well (I think). I though I'd do another one. I've found some lovely items and for some silly reason I did not get my wages this week but will get them next week and so I'm thinking of travelling down to London to spend my pennies. But is it worth it? I live in Birmingham by the way! Oh and I'm really thinking about filming my haul, but I'm super scared ha! Anyway here for the products that are on my shopping list :)

Pale Blue Boyfriend Blazer £40 Topshop

Pink Floral Print High Tops £30 River Island

Pink Flamingo Scarf  £12 Vero Moda

Aztec Printed Wedges Kurt Geiger £190 (Maybe a bit too pricey for me!)

And I plan to certainly get something from Mac, Essie and pretty much everything that FleurdeForce owns :)

Have A Good Weekend :)

Awards, Awards, Awards!

Hi again :) I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has nominated me or gave me an award recently - I've been lucky enough to received/been nominated for The Versatile Award by Sophie-Pearl  and by Empire State Beauty Queen and by LizaBellaBeauty and, The Liebster Award by Red Star Beauty! So thank you girls :)

Also a thanks to everyone who reads and comments - I always look at your blogs even though I sometimes don't comment!

One last thing I'd love to do a giveaway but no one ever seems to enter ha! I was thinking a MAC haul (mascara, lippie, eyeliner, the lot) but I'm not going to buy these things if no one will enter? :)

Make-up Swap Anyone?

Hi lovelies :) I've just saw a blog post from the lovely Sara at Passing Fancy, and she tell us that she swapped make-up with a girl from Haiwaii! How exciting!! I'd love to do one of these, so if anyone wants to do it with me please email me! I'd rather you didn't comment and just straight email me please :)

My email is stevie(dot)vincent@wlv.ac.uk

I have so many cute things in mind :)

By the way I'd be interested in someone from anywhere including the UK :)

7 Deadly Sins of Beauty

So I wasn't really tagged ha! But I wanted to do it anyway, I've seen a few people do these and look fun. Hope you enjoy :)

GREED
What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?
Inexpensive - Pretty much anything from MUA! If you don't own something from MUA you really need to try the products out. Most things start at just £1. I don't really own many really expensive beauty items. The only thing I spend a lot of money on is my hair and that's because I get hair extensions!

WRATH
What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?
Different coloured eyeliners! I really like them but they don't like me. I mean anything other than black by the way. They look fantastic on other people but I just feel silly with them on - but I'm getting bored of black!

GLUTTONY
What are your most delicious beauty products?
I STILL have some of my Snow Fairy bits left from LUSH which you can still buy on eBay :) I still have some shower gel left, some of the bubble bar wand and the lip tint - which is my ultimate favourite. They all smell amazing!

SLOTH
What beauty product do you neglect due to laziness?
Erm, I don't know if this counts but I'm pretty bad at taking my make up off after a night out! I also have tons of toners and cleansers but can never be bothered with them either!

PRIDE
What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
This is so hard as I wear so much make up, I would feel naked without any of it on! I feel like s**t when I don't wear any FALSE EYELASHESs so I'd say them lol.

LUST
What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
I'm pretty shallow, I'll admit! I like my man to be good looking with a nice bod - but who doesn't! Their job is also important lol.

ENVY
What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
I would absolutely love some VALENTINO perfume - the one from last months glossy box. It smells lush! Or anything from MAC - easily pleased really :)

Please comment below if you have done this too :)

NOTD - Blue Konad Zebra Print Design

Hi all! I decided to paint my nails today even though it will be took off for my shift tomorrow :( I used Baby Blue Saffron Nail Varnish as a base and used Konad Sky Blue Nail Varnish for the Zebra Print design. It's a bit messy but like I said it's being taken off tonight! And I much prefer it when I do it in Black and White!

This is a good tutorial to follow if you want to re-create the deisgn :)

I'm sure you all know what Konad is by now but if you don't, then keep reading!

Konad is a newish type of Nail Art that allows you to imprint a fun design on your nails and it is super easy to do and really quick too! And I found out you don't have to use Konad just on your nails! So have a go :)

I put some links up the top, but I buy most of my things of eBay - you can also buy a cheaper stamper and scraper kit for like 99p which is exactly the same. I've also noticed the nail polish's and plates are cheaper too! And don't attempt to use normal Nail Varnish instead because already tried it and it doesn't work :)

You can create loads of designs too not just Zebra Print!
